HAVE THE HEARTS {photopoem}

Have the hearts involved sealed in the grief;
has sorrow calmed to a pensive stare
as eyes stray down and to the left
when no one cares?
Have these two lovers
done the unthinkable and survived?

If a wish could say it all,
what would their breath offer to the air?
If mist of their voice should freeze as they speak
and shatter in silence
would anyone hear?
If anyone
reached out to help,
what smile would enter where smiles die,
where indrawn breath escapes in sighs
and half-said things they should have said--
where they see the eyes of indifferent death
as real as rolling over one morning
wanting nothing.

Announcement of Coffeehouse Display

Mood Indigo, originally uploaded by Professor Bop.

For those of you within traveling distance of Hartford, CT: there is a display by one Flickr's highly skilled practitioners (Professor Bop) at:

Lulu's European Coffeehouse
49 Cottage Street
New Haven, CT 06511

It will run at least till the end of March. I'm told that the images are large size (in the 16x20 range), matted and framed to look spectacular. I hope some lucky viewer of this post will be able to get to the venue and see it in person.

Here is a link to his Set of images included in the display:

Manas Dichow: Imaging Artist

If I ever start to think there is a category for Manas' work, I make sure to visit his site again.......and am sure to be surprised. His HDR technique is a thing of beauty, while he mixes blown-glass abstracts with orange-robed visages from another culture--amid a steady flow of surreal images from everyday life. And now he is one of the top practitioners of Fractal creation. Nothing escapes his eye, nothing is beyond his techniques.

iUrs: Imaging Artist

I ran across some images from The Blue Period very early on in my Flickr experience and was struck by the fine touch applied to the nudes. A master of all kinds of light, iUrs is deserves every bit of praise he receives..........and he even puts poems with some of his images.
